Self-exclusion
Rhode Island Lottery operates a voluntary self-exclusion program. If you sign up, you are barred from placing wagers at Bally’s Twin River, Bally’s Tiverton, and the Sportsbook RI mobile app for a defined period (typically 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime). Any winnings placed during the exclusion period are forfeited.
To self-exclude, contact the Rhode Island Lottery directly or visit either Bally’s casino in person.
Deposit limits & cool-offs
The Sportsbook RI app supports several built-in responsible gambling tools:
- Deposit limits — daily, weekly, or monthly caps on how much you can fund
- Wager limits — caps on bet size or total stake
- Time limits — caps on session length
- Cool-off periods — temporary self-blocks (24 hours to 6 months)
- Account closure — full closure on request
You can set or adjust these in the app under Account → Responsible Gaming.

Legal age reminder
You must be 18 or older to wager at Bally’s Twin River or Bally’s Tiverton in person, and 21 or older to use the Sportsbook RI mobile app. Underage gambling is illegal in Rhode Island and any winnings will be voided.
